Caring for Persons with Intellectual Disability

SUN-DAC is a charity set up in 1990 to provide care for persons with intellectual disabilities in a Day Activity Centre setting. We are a Voluntary Welfare Organisation with Institute of Public Character (IPC) status, and are supported by the Ministry of Social & Family Development (MSF) and NCSS Community Chest.

Our Clients

We serve persons with intellectual disability and cerebral palsy between the ages of 16 and 60 years. Some of our clients also have other accompanying disabilities like autism or are physically disabled, and wheelchair-bound.

How we are funded

SUN-DAC is funded by MSF and NCSS Community Chest. The amount of funding received is based on the number of clients it has and the amount of subsidy clients are entitled to receive based on the government’s means test guidelines.
